Artificial Lift is a Production Method used to assist the reservoir pressure to achieve the desired liquid rate at the Lease Custody Transfer. This assistance can be either by lowering the gradient of the fluid up the tubing string or increasing the pressure at the tubing string end enough to overcome the pressure losses along the string.
