Jump to navigation Jump to search

The size of an emissions source in terms of customary units, such as mass per time (e.g. kilograms per hour) or volume per time (e.g. standard cubic meters per hour).

Emission Rate is a measure of how quickly a pollutant is being introduced to the atmosphere. Typically expressed in either mass per unit time (e.g., kg/hr) or volume per unit time (e.g., SCF/hr). Many units exist and are used.[1]
