Glossary:Dry gas
In the context of production, dry gas is a gas stream without condensate. Note: even dry gas at bottom hole conditions may have up to two barrels of water vapor per million standard cubic ft of gas. Dry gas on the process side has all liquids removed.
In the context of reserves, dry gas is a natural gas containing insufficient quantities of hydrocarbons heavier than methane to allow their commercial extraction or to require their removal in order to render the gas suitable for fuel use. (Also called Lean Gas).
